(New York): J. Ottmann Lith. Co., 1892. 1 leaf stiff cardboard (15.5x17.5cm), colour-printed on both sides, with two holes punched (with cord for hanging), 12 separate leaves (one for each month) attached to recto with grommets. The recto shows three angelic children, one holding a rake; the verso shows an ornamental fan with five vignettes featuring farm equipment and a printed calendar. A fine example of a pretty calendar.
At its peak the Walter A. Wood Mowing & Reaping Machine Company (1852-1924) was the largest farm machinery manufacturer in the world.
