This was preceded by the English appearance in The Graphic, but the English edition in book form was not published until 1887 (although it was printed in 1886).
Also bound with Haggard's novel are "John Westcott" by James Baker; "The Girl In The Brown Habit" by Mrs. Edward Kennard; and "Dorothy Forster" by Walter Besant.
