Small 4to., cloth-backed paper folding portfolio with a printed label on the upper board, ties, containing loose illustrations in nine numbered folders with a paper label to identify the work or subject matter of the illustrations. With 81 plates and no text. One plate has a slight brown mark in the margin the remainder are fine in the portfolio which has some rubbing to the spine ends but is o/w near fine.
The folders are labelled as follows: I. Charles Dickens--II. David Copperfield--III. Old Curiosity Shop--IV. Dombey and Son--V. Little Dorrit--VI. Barnaby Rudge--VII. Bleak House--VIII. Martin Chuzzlewit--IX. Miscellaneous. Each part has from five to twelve illustrations.
