Contemporary ownership inscription and holograph poem in the same hand on the half-title, binding rubbed with some wear to extremities, a very good copy.
This volume contains Wordsworth's poems (or portions of poems) which ‘contain topographical allusions to the English Lake District, with fifty-six engravings from drawings expressly made for this Work... The Object of the book is to illustrate the scenes and localities most closely connected with Wordsworth's poetical work. Many of these scenes are undergoing changes, that in a few years will render their connexion with the poems obscure, and difficult to trace; and, it is with the hope of preserving some permanent record of what is still unchanged...'
