Drake is primarily known as a vigorous Tory pamphleteer though he did write other works, including the above, his "answer to Collier."

The d/w is the only indication that this is the issue done for Canada withi "Hodder & Stoughton Limited,17 Wilton Avenue, Toronto" printed in dark green at the bottom of the upper panel of the d/w. The sheets and binding are as the first U.S. edition noted by Hughey 39a. A scarce issue.
