Paris: Le Normant, fils, 1818-1820. In six volumes. 8vo., full cont. calf, gilt compartments, leather spine labels. Library pockets at rear (no other library markings), volume one lacking the rear pastedown, some wear to extremities but still a very good set.
Contains contributions by Chateaubriand, to whom the work is dedicated by the editor. This ultra-Royalist journal was published irregularly in order to evade censorship. It was founded in 1818, in opposition to "Le Minerva Francaise" and lasted until 1820.
