A damp stain to foot of spine, which overlaps approx. 1” on both boards, but does not penetrate the interior, in fact a very good copy.
Walter Dennison (1869-1917) was a professor of Latin and Roman Archaeology. He also lectured at the Archaeological Institute of America. "The following pages present a description of thirty-six objects belonging to a notable gold treasure of the late Roman period found in Egypt."
