Large 8vo., pict. wrappers, 28pp., 4pp(ads). Very good. The entire inner front wrap contains a printed "Compliments" notice from a drugstore in Kincardine Ontario. Presumably the American company arranged distribution in this manner through the U.S. and Canada. Aside from formulas for preparing chemical treatments for people and animals it contains formulas for dealing with a host of household problems from cleaning objects to ant extermination, and perhaps appropriately, a whole page on antidotes for poisons. A fascinating compendium of folk wisdom. $65.00 |
