First of this edition. “Series D, Ordinary Edition, printed on plate paper.” Tall 8vo., original black cloth with elaborate decoration in gilt on the upper cover, (xvi), 71 plates, each with tissue guards identifying the scene. Bookplates, some light wear to spine ends and corners, small split in outer rear hinge but certainly a very good copy. Penzer p. 124.
