An account of the journey of William Scorseby (Junior) who was trained by his father, also and explorer. The younger Scoresby published two books on the Arctic, "An Account of the Arctic Regions" (1820) and the above title published in 1823. The above is an account of his voyage in which several weeks were spent in whaling and in the exploration of the Scoresby Sound region in a search for Eskimo settlements and for magnetic and other observations.
