CHILDERS, Erskine. German Influence On British Cavalry.
London: Edward Arnold, 1911. First edition. From the library of the "Canadian Military Institute" with there stamp on the titlepage and bookplate. Presented to the Institute by Col. G. T. Denison with his signature on the titlepage. 8vo., orig. red cloth, 215, 8pp. ads. Very faint white numbers on the spine, but still a near fine copy of a scarce book.

Childers wrote volume V of the "Times' History of the War in South Africa (1907), which drew attention to British errors in that war and praised the tactics of the Boer Guerrillas. He also wrote two other books that were strongly critical of the British Army.
