The Canadian edition matches all the first edition, first state points of the Reilly & Britton edition of 1909, including the "Laura Bancroft adverts," "four Baum titles listed on p.264," paper colour as in state 1, textual points in the earliest state. The binding design is identical save for the imprint at the foot of the spine which reads "The Copp,/Clark Co." There is some very light soiling to the rear board, the upper corner of the rear board is slightly bumped, a touch of rubbing to the red board on the upper cover but this is in fact, a fine copy of a rare book.  (more
