We do not offer a general search service. However, our clients (both private and institutional) are encouraged to outline their areas of interest and we will quote material to them as we acquire it. On occasion we will search for individual books for regular clients.
We offer an appraisal service. Our fees are based on the amount time it takes to complete the appraisal. For many years we have conducted appraisals for several of Canada's major institutions. Appraisals are undertaken for various reasons: tax gifts-in-kind; insurance claims. We also offer appraisals of books and collections for possible purchase. If we purchase the books the appraisal fee is refunded.
